Ability to make quick reads during the play
Ability to read defenses before the play - these two are very important. You do these two things well and you can be successful with marginal talent. Ability to take hits and not get rattled -Absolutely essential Improves in clutch situations -Makes good quarterbacks great Long-pass accuracy -There is no substitute Low injury risk -Can't win the game if you ain't out there Medium-pass accuracy Medium-pass velocity - These go hand in hand. I wanted a rocket arm for one of the three areas. Pocket Presence -Underrated part of Marino's game Short-pass accuracy -I love accurate quarterbacks.
