So Is DT Gonna Make the HOF?
Aside from being my favorite player of all time my wife got me an autographed Dt helemt for Christmas so I would really love to see him go.

I also have a picture of him tackling Elway for his 100th sack but he passed before I had a chance to get that signed.


The guys on the radio said he is head an shoulders above most of the people on the list.

Anyone?

I sincerely hope he makes it this year, and you are right... he is one of the strongest candidates this year (of course, he has been every year as far as I am concerned).

If Marino can make it DT should. Granted Marino went to a SB and DT didn't most of Marino's hype is all stat based.

Owning every significant record by a country mile will tend to generate hype.

I'm pretty sure that this is only DT's second year of eligibility, too, unless I had amnesia for a year or something. That's possible, though, since I wouldn't remember having it.

Or do you remember that you had amnesia? Or do you even know you have it in the first place?

Seeing as how we're coming up on the 6 year anniversary of his death, and that there is a five year waiting period once your career ends, I'd say you're absolutely correct RM.

This still doesn't rule out the amnesia, however.....

I don't disagree. I think he should have been a first-ballot...I just think it may be a couple of more years before it happens.
