Deja Vu. We could take someone none of us has heard about.

Happened with Pollard in the second.

We can't go on by who the Chiefs brought in.

1st round could also be a surprise. The D-end from Purdue?

I am just saying don't be surprised. All teams have to hide the cards. Other teams are scouting the news sites/main messageboards on who the frontrunners are.

One thing no ones saying is trading down. I wouldn't mind it because Herm/Kuharick are decent evaluators. Would you be pissed?

Petro made what I thought was a good point the other day. The team is being much, much quieter this year than in the past, that's it's impossible to tell who're they're targetting, and that may be an indication that we're trading someone. Said he thought there was a chance that today through Saturday could be very interesting.

I follow the Big Ten because I am a Buckeye fan and the player you are talking about is Anthony Spencer. In the 1st round I dont know if I would take him, he is a very talented DE, he has a lot of upside and is already really really good. He is a guy like Tamba Hali his motor never stops and to be quite frank, he just makes plays, all the time he is always in plays. He is an excellent pass rusher. But in the first round we have other glaring needs, he is definetely 1st round calibur and will be picked in the first round. I know Mel Kiper Jr picked him to be the DROY.

I'd love a defensive end.

Roger Goodell is serious about cleaning up the image of the NFL. People are dramatically underestimating the impact that could have on Jared Allen's status.

Who are you thinking? Spencer, Moss, someone else?

Do you think Jared is no longer a Chief after this year?

this is exactly why I'm excited about this draft...can't wait to see how it all plays out...we aren't usually in the middle of the excitement...

If we're set on taking a DE, why not take Charles Johnson instead of Spencer? I think Johnson has a much higher upside.

Still, I don't see us taking a DE in the 1st for the 2nd straight year.

Jared SAID he's no longer a Chief after this year.

In addition, I think there's a good chance he'll be suspended for more than 6 games this season.

I think there's a good chance people will act like they've never heard of the player we pick no matter who it is.

Charles Johnson played opposite Quentin Moses.

Spencer was a star on his defense and O-Lines game-planned for him.

I would love to trade down in the first.

The problem I see is finding a trade partner in the first round.

I wouldn't want to trade out of the first round altogether.
