Your Credit Cards, Watch You Ass!

I'll tell you this, I am going to start reading more of the bullshit paperwork the credit card boys send out in the small print. I just looked at one of my credit card bills (Advanta Business) and about messed myself when I caught the fact that I was paying a, get this shit.....37.18 APR rate on purchases!! I was like What the ****?? Keep in mind, my credit score is over well over 800 and I have never been late on a bill. I called them up and asked them "what kind of a rat soup, Mickey Mouse, fly by night, chicken shit, loan shark outfit are you running over there?" The old hide on the other end said she could lower it to 24.99%, what a ****ing deal huh? I said, don't bother and told her to listen carefully. I then took the Advanta card and ran it through my heavy duty paper shredder. I said "did you her that?" she asked what it was and I told her "that was the sound of your credit card running through my shredder, you just lost a customer." Within 15 minutes, I had a different "low interest rate card" and had the balance transfered. Advanta can kiss my country ass.

Advanta is super-sketchy about their rates. I bookkept for a company and they shot the rates up to like 31% pre-recession. I brought it to my boss and paid it down as soon as possible.

Yeah, reading the fine print on credit card info is generally accepted as the smart thing to do.

should see some of the reports on consumerist.com lately about who credit cards are ****ing their customers so they can double dip in the bailouts..

I luckily have no credit cards anymore outside my Commerce Bank overdraft credit card..

I have never seen anything like it in my life. If I wanted that kind of rate, I would file for BK, go buy a trailer, start smoking crack and get all my loans from title loan companies and pawn shops.

I don't carry a credit card balance. I pay my bill in full every month and reap the travel rewards. CC balances are for suckers.

Yeah, no kidding, same for me. I don't know how people can be dumb enough to actually pay the credit card APR unless it's just insanely low. Some people just aren't very financially responsible. I'm way to jewish to ever carry a credit card balance. I'd literally cut my arm off before doing that. Only reason I have a credit card is so I can pay for utilities, things online, and don't have to carry very much cash. I have no interest in buying things I cannot afford.

because buying stupid shit like a drumkit sounds alot better if you pay 20 dollars a month instead of saving and spending a grand on it

Yeah, no kidding. I told my mom I was going to buy this fifth wheel trailer at the boat show last week cuz the payments were only like 299 per month. My mom told me no cuz I would have to pay 299.00 for 240 months. Keep in mind this trailer is 20,000 new. Wow only 299 per month!! sign me up! I said I don't care LOL, its a trailer where I can put my ATV dirt quad in the back. Then she said what am I going to pull it with I dont have a truck. Its so sweet sitting on the street next to mymailbox.

I'd rather just save up. Even with my car. I took a loan out for it, but I only needed it for two months of payments. Then I went to FIG Credit Union with a duffel bag full of 10K in cash and said here. I do not like paying interest on an asset that depreciates
