Prices on AutoTrader are normally horribly high, so I kept away. Granted they were likely set that high for negotiation purposes, but ugh.

Best way to go if you know someone with a dealer license would be tagging along with them and hit up a couple auctions.

I have bought one off of Autotrader and one off of craigslist and both were decent deals. No matter where you look you have to do your homework first.

Autotrader seems more like a tool for car dealers to play their bait and switch games, I've had better luck with Craigslist. They both can be a pain in the ass sometimes, especially when the dipshits that have already sold their vehicles don't take their ads down.
