Shutting off your water

We have a leak coming from a pipe. It's a pipe that connects to the tub fixture stuff. My friend obviously didnt put the pipe back on straight and that fixture thing needs replaced anyways. It was leaking onto the basement ceiling. I shut the water off so it'd stop leaking. Is it safe to keep the water off overnight? Heaters set at 65 and it's 35 degrees outside. It's been in the 60's all day. 32 is the low for tonight.

Its the simple overnight fix until we get the new fixture tomorrow. Pardon my non existent plumbing knowledge.
