Ugh...Don't You Hate It When People Invite Themselves?
So my wife and I are taking our kids on an overnight trip out-of-town this weekend to a hotel/waterpark. Thought it would be a fun, end-of-the-summer getaway for the family and we got a great deal. It was a spontaneous thing we decided on a couple of days ago (which makes it more fun) and I've really been looking forward to it.
Today, my wife tells me some friends of ours, and their kids, are going too. ![]() I mean, it will probably end up being OK. It'll certainly make it easier to entertain the kids, and our kids will surely love having their friends along. Plus, it's not like we don't get along with this other couple. I guess I just hate feeling restricted on what we do and when we do it and I'm certain that will happen. I was also looking forward to the quality family time with just us. OK, venting over... ![]() |
