O.city's mock draft.

Not that it's a little closer to draft time, I'm making some changes.

I think the Bengals will give us a 2 rounder to move up to take Decastro. They need a guard.

With the 21 pick here we go.

Round 1

Have guards, need a center.

Peter Konz

Round 2

A. Too tough to pass this guy up. Headcase, but so talented.

Janoris Jenkins

B. Brandon Taylor. safety is set.

Round 3

Josh Chapman

Round 4

Derek Wolfe

Round 5

T.Y Hilton

Round 6

Matt Reynolds

Round 7

Wide receiver from Montana or whereever that had great measurables.

Interesting.

Not a big fan of the Egnew pick. All others... very interesting.

I think Ingram could be a monster on this d. He could put his hand in the dirt and rush the passer or against the run. He could stand up.

VERSATILITY.

Love Ingram. Id go wr over TE..Idk if he will last that long but I have a man-crush on Ryan Broyles. He will be a stud, and you could tell the impact he had on Landry Jones after he was injured

For comparsion

Ingram:109 total tackles and played in 52 games.

Poe:101 tackles in 35 games.

I like Ingram, but some of you aren't being fair in your evaluations.

That's not a lot of tackles for linebacker.

Decent draft.

However, Ingram is very similar to Houston in size and play style. I don't see them burning a first on a guy who is the same guy that they drafted last year, especially when Houston really put it on at the end of the season.

They might draft another OLB type of guy hoping that one sticks, but it's not going to be early. In addition, you have recent picks Cameron Sheffield and Gabe Miller, along with veteran Andy Studebaker on the roster.

I just don't see them taking a guy like Ingram with the first pick.

Kind of agree Sac, but I think Ingram is too versatile to pass up. He can put his hand in the dirt at times if you asked him too.

I really hope we target Isiah Pead somewhere in the draft.

I dont give a single **** about tackle stats.

They are the most unreliable stat in the whole game.

Every team tracks them differently, so its impossible to compare players of different teams based on that number.

Its why if you look at NFL.com, a individual players tackle stats are different than what you see on the team website.

Poe may have had 101 tackles that are combined his solo and assisted where Ingram might have had 109 solo tackles. Also, some teams dont even accurately track them and they are basically an educated guess and are sued to inflate a certain players stock so its easier to attract recruits and whatnot.

It depends heavily on how his team reports tackle stats.

Either way a linebacker should have three times as many tackles as a lineman.

If he were to fall to 11, with that roster, I'd be fine with taking Tannehill.
