Which QB Do You Like

Ok gentlemen, time to let us know what QB you'd like to see the Chiefs draft this year. Maybe list the top 3-5 guys in order of preference.....along with a bit of commentary about each guy. I'll start this with....

(1) P Mahomes - Yeah his footwork stinks and yeah he played in a "gimmick" offense, but he is the absolute antithesis of Alex Smith. Mahomes is a gunslinger whereas Alex has the mentality of an accountant. So, in that singular regard, Mahomes is most appealing. Add in the fact that he has a cannon for an arm and you have the Chiefs starting QB in 2018.

2) D Webb - First of all, I like this kid's pedigree - son of a high school coach so he's been immersed in football/jargon for a long time. Plus he has prototypical size for an NFL QB, an excellent arm capable of all NFL throws, good pocket presence and a high football IQ. Give this kid a year or two to learn behind Alex, and he could end up being a damn good NFL QB. A lot to like about this guy.

3) M Trubisky - A bit concerned that he was only a starter for one year, but he appears to have a very solid NFL skillset. His floor might be higher than any other QB available this year. A safe selection wtih considerable upside.

4) D Watson - Everytime I see/hear mention of Watson as an NFL QB I think of Robert Griffin III. Pretty much similar skillsets, size, arm and football savvy. I thought RGIII would be a dynamite NFL QB, but sadly, he leaned on his running ability too much. I fear the same could happen with Watson. If available, I'd definitely take a flyer on him, but not without some concern.

5) D Kizer - Another strong armed QB with prototypical NFL size. His stats for 2016 were rather "meh", but there were definitely times when he looked damn good. Additionally, his supporting cast for 2016 was also rather "meh". That said, Kizer clearly did not raise the level of play in his surrounding players. Very, high ceiling, but could also be a total bust.

Who do you like???

Personally, I really like Watson. The kid is a gamer. He is smart. He has proven time after time that if it comes down to it he will put the team on his back. Andy Reid has a decent track record with mobile QBs and I don't think that Andy would lean on this kid to take off running a ton. RG3 got destroyed because of Shanahan. I think if we got Watson in Rd. 1, he would come into a perfect situation where he doesn't have to start right away, and there are already a ton of great weapons in place, unlike Washington when RG3 got drafted.

Mahomes, we have the personel to get downfield and our OL will be gelled for 2 years now. After Smith and hoping our OL is in year 3 we should be ready for a gunslinger.

1. Trubisky
2. Mahomes
3. Webb

4a. Watson
4b. Kizer

id rank webb as my number one, I like his history as a coaches kid hes had setbacks and still overcome or maybe perservered Is a better term. our offense is gonna give a young guy some headaches. that's just what I like about him outside of the obvious physical stuff.

number dos... mahomes. I just have a fascination with with the guy probably because hes kinda the odd man out but has the tools.plus hes being compared to favre and manziel and if were gonna go down in flames we might as well go down doing coke and sending dick picks to female media members on the sidelines.

three is Watson. nothing super stand out about him but the kid plays fierce seems to be a gamer.

next I'm gonna say chad ****ing Kelley. I think some one will take a chance and polish this late round turd. he was pretty ****ing decent against bama.

really don't give a shit about the top qbs because we cant hardly afford a trade up that high nor do they really seem worth it.

just for the record I'm hardly a college fb watcher I mostly pick and choose what is see, and I'm not even close to a scout just a weekend warrior who faps to the draft.

Deshaun Watson - He's the best player in the draft. Go back and watch the National Championship game. The poise and decision making he displayed in that game was remarkable. He took an absolute beating from Alabama's front seven, but he still stood in there, kept his eyes downfield and made throws with great accuracy while getting snot bubbled in the process. He has terrific touch. His deep ball is a thing of beauty. He antcipates throws through tight windows in zone defense and throws his receivers open against man.

Kansas City need to trade up and get Watson. If he drops to 15, Dorsey, Reid and Clark need to call their old buddy Ballard and make a trade. Trade their first, second and a third in this deep defensive draft. Indy needs more talent than any one draft pick. I look at this as a realistic possibility.

Kizer. Just say it with me... Kizer. That's a QB name right there boys. Trubisky? Dude should be out there lining up to kick a field goal. Webb? He needs to be worried about where the running lane is before he's handed the ball. Watson? He's more concerned about not running into the pole on his post pattern. But Kizer? Take your place right there under center and show that pussy Smith how to operate in the red zone, Mahomes.
