Suggs' first trip back to Baltimore.

Pretty good stuff here with Suggs trying to get his guys on the same page to stop Lamar Jackson in week 2 of the season. With the players we have this could be a great game if we see them in the poatseason.

Watching this got me thinking.

It’s pretty clear that the Ravens aren’t going to throw anything new at us. We’ve seen them twice in the last year (albeit new defensive staff the second time), and Suggs obviously has a good idea what to expect depending on the situation.

On the other hand, you just know Reid still has plenty of tricks up his sleeve.

I’m probably being really naive, but not only do I really like our chances in Baltimore, I’m barely even concerned that we might lose.

The Ravens are just a team whose number we have. I will never be scared of Lamar Jackson while we have Mahomes.

Ravens were the first team this year that came at us hard physically. Punched at the ball the whole game, made our WRs fight for every yard off the LOS, hurried Mahomes. We still got a pretty good lead on them. i think Watson is a much better passer than he was then, too. I mean, dude leads the league in TD passes.

But we are a Buch better defense than we were then. It will obviously be about containing Jackson. But if we overcorrect for that he can pick us apart in the passing game. Who knows if we will even ever meet them in the playoffs. What if they lose their first game. lol.
