I have read that you can play 2112 and watch Willy Wonka using Rush's Music as the soundtrack. It is like the Darkside of Oz. The Pink Floyd Release and the Movie the Wizard of Oz. I tried the latter with some friends and we did not due it correctly, but it still turned out okay.

The Temples of Syrinx is a great song. I have always liked Rush. Over the past few years I have really started to get more into them. Subdivisions is one of my favorite songs. Earlier tonight I was watching VH1 Classic and they played an hour of R30. Alex and Neil did not look as though they were in good shape. Geddy has never looked like he was in good shape. They were never about image though. They put on one hell of a show. In my book Rush kicks Pink Floyd's Ass.

Damm I want to watch that Rush weekend on VH1. Yes R30 rocks. The second disk, has old interviews and concerts-it is great.

I am glad to see Rush making such a huge impact with their music. I started writing because of Neil. So did like a million other folks-lol

2112 was the first Rush to bless my ears. My best friends uncle had a new Hi Fi record turntable ($500) back then. His cousin put on 2112 and just blew me away. Hooked every since.

Signals was my first concert. I drank a pint of peppermint schnapps, and a pint of Southern Comfort. They don't mix well-lol. Heard most of the music and watched half the concert, spent the end puking. The lights and special effects were too much. Seen them 10 times since in 3 different states.

You sit down and watch Willy Wonka on mute and play 2112 at the same time.

It can be done with the Darkside of the Moon and the Wizard of Oz also, as well as the other.

Quick story,I was a sophomore in high school taking an English Lit class and we were assigned to read a poem by Cooleridge in class.

So there I am when I read,I have walked the caves of ice and drank the milk of paradise when I let out a loud WHOA.

When the teacher asked me what was the problem I proceeded to tell him I had an album with these lyrics.

Long story short I got to bring A Farewell To Kings to class the next day but the teacher couldn't make it past the first three minutes of Xanadu.
