Chiefs | Team will likely look for top defensive tackle

Adam Teicher, of the Kansas City Star, reports the Kansas City Chiefs are expected to target a high-quality defensive tackle this offseason, and unless one is released, they will likely have to look to the draft for one.

If they are gonna do this, do it right and move up high enough to the top guy then! But is there even a DT that is worth really moving up for???

we don't have enough picks to move up high enough. unless they only want to draft 1 guy.

I don't know if Okoye is worth moving up for. I watched him play and LOVE his game, but with the weak DT class this year and DT being such a premium, I think he'll go real high.

If there a chance to get him in the mid to high teens, that's one thing, but I don't know if he grades out as a DT prospect worth moving up too high for?

My top 2 would be Okoye and Jarett. I think any DT of worth will be off the board long long before we can sniff it and WR is loaded in this draft. I pretty much NEVER want to go after a wideout with a 1st pick, but its a position of serious need for us and watching him play in the Rosebowl I really like his chances to dominate in the NFL. He's a big guy, which Herm likes for his WR, so maybe a chance it happens?
