Trip Report and Pics from Indy

Well......

I'm not gonna bother with the game, I'm sure that horse has been beat to death.

The pregame tailgate was a blast. We literally took that corner of NY and Capitol over. There were several instances where Colts fans attempted to park there and thought better of it. There were more Chiefs fans in this tiny lot than there were Colts fans in the 2 large surrounding lots. It was great to meet all you guys, you know who you are.

Since the game didn't go well, the highlight of the day was the walk to the Dome. Me, Weirdwolf, BigRedChief, Grandllama and Stevieray were passing through a tunnel/overpass/whatever with a small band playing. Once they saw Stevie in full FDE gear, they broke into Jailhouse Rock. Here's a small clip, I didn't get to the camera quick enough.....

2-3 pics to follow.....

Early at the tailgate. This lot was jammed 3 hours before game time.

Good stuff!

"GO BLUE" on a red bus? Nice!

Good shit on the LH stickers!

And Damn! Y'all are some sexy Mofos! You make me proud to be a Chiefs fan.

While that Big Ass puddle at the tailgate isn't very attractive, it woulda been a great place to toss our offensive playbook.

This was early on too. That lot got packed with Chief fans later. This dude has a motorized cooler. He would take it and ride around in the lots and give Colt fans crap.

The puddle was soon covered by a car or two, thankfully.

And re: playbook......

We got back to the tailgate where a group had restarted the grill, burning pretty muchanything they could get their hands on.

One of the guys takes 2 sheets of paper from the truck, folds them in half and tossed them in the fire, saying "might as well burn the playbook."

Maybe you had to be there.......
