Franchise PR strategy

Think back to day 1 of the Herm regime. I irrationally held the faintest glimmer of hope that maybe, possibly there was a year left before the window slammed on out very vulnerable hopes of a SB. Then Willie the First retired. I knew we were cooked.

Truthfully, I'd rather have the regime tell me like it is. No soothing smoke up the ass.

I never expected a playoff appearance while Marv Levy was coach, because he told me we sucked and that it would be a long process. I was okay with that.

I'd rather be told that we suck than be subjected to the insulting BS out of 1 Arrowhead Drive. I'd be more willing to give an honest regime a chance than the Herm and Carl good ship sunshine all is well message we've been given the last two years. How about you?

Yep, Herm is a fraud. I didn't want to believe it when I first heard it. I wanted to give the guy a fair shake. He basically changes his message and what he is about to serve that day's needs.

Carl, talk about being time to go. As stated in another thread just recently. He called us impatient. We have not won a playoff game in 14 years you dipshit!

Send em both packing. And please take Dick Curl with you, along with Solari, ST coach Preifer (sp?) Even Gun too. Mr, attack attack attack the ball carrier, don't worry about staying at home and staying with your assignment or the responsibilities of your current position. I mean teams never use the cutback in the NFL.

Take Bigfoot Wilson with you, talk about a failed experiment, also take Boomer. Hey, I like the guy...but that alone is not good enough. We need a true FB badly.

Basically, I've seen the need for a complete overhaul of the roster for a couple of years. What I resent is the reluctance of the franchise to articulate that even now. They had to know they would be fortunate to finish above .500 at the beginning of the season.

If they'd be honest, I'd be a lot more willing to be patient. At least I'd believe they weren't dillusional.
