Misc Can any of you old ****ers remember winwood lake/beach???

I have found a bit of information about it, but it is scarce..

Any of you old enough to remember the resort in NKC?? Any pictures???

Sure, it was only a couple of miles from where I lived. Had sort of boardwalk that contained the swimming area. Had a big slide down into the lake. Had a roller rink that burnt down and was replaced with an even bigger and better one. Also had sort or a small beach. Nothing spectacular but a place to cool off during the summer.

Nah... but I can tell you some stories about Crystal Lake down in Doodah.

I don't remember it at all, I remember the skating rink, but no beach and I grew up pretty close to there.
