This sounds insane, but ...

If we had any thing closely resembling a QB coach, Thigpen might win 3 to 4 games this year.. yes the Oline would have to step-up the Defense would have to stop the running game .. but Thigpen could play 50% better if he was coached more on his foot-work and release ... he can scramble decent and is getting a little better at not trying to force passes into coverage ....

If someone can coach accuracy, Thiggy might pan out.

yeah... because 25/36 is some shit accuracy.

Now, if we had someone smarter than Dick Curl at QB coach... say, like a pet rock.

THEN

We had an O-Cord who did not go away from the only thing that we had working for us when the game was on the line.... we could have won this game.

I am all for Curl getting the **** outta Dodge.

I was happy with Gailey until that shit with 5 minutes to go.

and what makes you think that was Gailey's doing? Whitlock asked Herm point blank after the game if he directed Chan to run the ball 3 times in a row at that point....and Herm refused to answer...he just said something like "we talked...and felt we could run the ball"

If that doesn't have Herm's name written all over it, I don't know what does.

This doesn't sound insane to me at all.

Actually I think Thigpen might do ok if he can start a few more games. We need some consistency back there itstead of the reovolving door we have had. Dick Curl is definately not helping him. IMHO he should be the first one fired at season end.
