Video Games Fifa 09

I am trying to play an exhibition match between a good team and a shitty team and It only lets me play as chicago fire. Can someone walk me through how to get to choose teams. It just gets me to the left and right controler screen for the home and away teams but i never even see a screen to choose a team

lol it was xbox 360 and i guess you just really need to reboot I played as manchester U against the wizzards and won in pk's it's a good game
