What, really, will the Chiefs do with LJ?

It's been interesting following the stories since bi-polar diaper boy went nutzo again last week. With the suspension, the rumors, the denials, the "apology," the NFLPA statements/involvement, talk from agents, talking heads on sports radio, and the "official" commentary coming from the organization....figuring out where this thing is gonna end isn't easy.

Personally, I hope he's seen his last carry as a Chief. To have this guy as our organization's leading "career rusher" would be an embarrassment and blot on the team--even bigger than the embarrassment of the product they've been fielding of late.

So, what do you think is gonna happen....

The FO/coaching staff should show a hard heart and cull that curdog from the yard, period.

I think the Chiefs are banking on the NFL dropping the hammer on him for being a repeat offender of their personal conduct decree, which is why we haven't seen more action from the Chiefs on LJ.

But officially, put me in MO's camp in regards to LJ. Flush the turd.

Yeah...I agree. I just hope Goodell and the league sock it to him, and aren't intimidated by some of the b.s. coming from agents and the NFLPA. You'd think they would want to clean up their image some--especially when this is an easy case to use to "make an example" of someone--especially as LJ is so deserving.

I know what I'd do about him, that's for sure. Hold down that bench, Larry. Now, what the Chiefs should do about him and what they will do about him I fear may be two very different things, and I am prepared to be let down.

with the shit they've pulled with bowe and DJ, if they just give him the starting gig back, they'll lose every player in this locker room forever. possibly this fan for the duration of haley's gig as well.

....that's kinda where I'm at too. I've supported this team for 40 years, but this shithead needs to be done. If he isn't, Haley and Pioli need to be done too.

I'd say it's both of the first two options.

My thinking is...he'd have to have a huge game, making the most of some very limited opportunities....to force the coaches hand in giving him more carries. I hope it doesn't happen---and his ass is sent packing at this point.

Letting him play would do too much to undermine Haley at this point, and it would be the beginning of the end of Haley IMO.

Maybe he could join the Broncos, with a locker next to Marshall. They could room together on the road too....

Unfortunately, I would echo this sentiment exactly.

Man....if Haley knows what's good for him, I don't think so. But I've been wrong before.

If they cut his ass, and a team like the Broncos with a good O-line picks him up, I won't be able to handle it. He needs to feel the Marcus Allen Oakland experience. Let him ROT.
Cutting him is exactly what he wants.

And if he starts.......I'm done, until a new era begins.

This team had a margin of error a razor's edge thin. LJ's greatest asset was he rarely turns the ball over. At 1-6 his turn over stat no longer has relevance.

If compromise is how this has to be played. He can suit up, he just can't touch the ball unless it's an emergency.
