9 sacks in that game. That's a season's worth these days.

If Keith Cash doesn't block that punt against Pittsburgh, then Montana wouldn't have gotten any playoff wins here either.

IF Barnett didnt catch that ball at the end with 4th and Goal, IF Mc Nairs phantom catch didnt happen...

IF Birden didnt catch that diving catch in the endzone from the Backup QB (Name is slipping me)...

Then no wins for Marty...

Shit we can IF that to death...

Heh! I'd forgotten about Keith Cash spiking Buddy Ryan's poster. That was great.

This was good to watch....but nothing tops the Montana-Elway game in Pile High Stadium. The look on Elway's face as Montana showed him what it was like to have your heart ripped out in the waning moments of the game....that was priceless.

This picks up from Elway's scramble to the end zone that was flagged at first then the Refs consulted and gave Denver the TD. It shows the Montana drive all the way up to just before the last play.

This starts from the end of the last timeout and carries to the end of the game and the end of game interviews. My favorite saying is in here....Dierdorf after Montana's TD pass: "Lord, you can take me now..I've seen it all"

That punt fell into the arms of fast Freddy Jones. Right in front of me and the boy

Nice of Nick to make up for his total fail in regulation. That worthless ****.

I was at Arrowhead at the game (1989 or 1990) when Warren Moon threw for over 500000 yards against our defense. We could do nothing right that day. It was a cold foggy november afternoon. The crowd was loud and Steve Deberg broke his little pinky that game. I remember cuz they showed it over and over on the jumbo tron. It was my first NFL game ever.

This playoff victory made up for the shelacking that Warren Moon gave us that Cold November day. Revenge is sweet!

You know what is sad.....watch the Denver game and see how much time Montana had in the pocket! Now that is an O-Line!! Dierdorf and Co. keep talking about how much time Montana had to throw...it was amazing how wide open the pocket was for Joe.

Wish we had an O-line like that one.

Thank you very much for that. Awesome.

When did the phrase "8 in the box" come about? Nowadays, an ESPN "personality" would say that the Oilers (er, Titans) defense was simple because they stack 8 in the box. Jackson said that they just put more people on the line than the offense.

So, who was the first person to say 8 in the box? When was it first used?

heh...ive had these games on tape for years. I think C-Mac has them on his site as well.

Its funny, people complain about our WR's now, but i always thought Willie Davis had some of the worst hands ive ever seen for a WR.
