We lost Wade Smith

Texans sign Wade Smith
Veteran offensive lineman agrees to four-year deal

The Houston Texans have signed versatile offensive lineman Wade Smith.

According to FOX Sports, the four-year deal is worth $12 million and includes $6.25 million in guaranteed money.

Per the report, the Seattle Seahawks and the Chiefs were interested in Smith.

“Wade really enjoyed his other visits to Arizona and Buffalo, but Houston was the first team we heard from after midnight Friday," agent Brian Parker told Fox Sports. “He felt it was the right fit for him.”

Smith has played tackle, guard and center, but is primarily a guard.

Last season, he started nine games for the Chiefs.

Smith has previous stints with the MIami Dolphins and the New York Jets.

Where is Mr. milkman when you need him?

This is unfortunate. He was a very versatile player and we need the depth. I wish him well, though. Down a well. Deep one. In the middle of nowhere. With no rope. And snakes.

Sounds about right. Let's throw these dumbass fans a bone with the Jones signing, then lets continue to **** up all the other signings like we did last year...Jesus, lets let go our best backup lineman in three spots and see what the dumbass fans think of that....

I am certain now that the Chiefs will pick Punter, Kicker and running back with their first three picks.....
