I'll Always Remember the 2 weeks of Optimism that we had after the 49ers game in 2010
I really enjoyed feeling optimistic. That was awesome feeling like we could play with anyone. Then Matt Casshat ruined everything.

Eh, it's one game. I didn't expect Cassel to suddenly start kicking ass, and I don't expect us to suddenly go in the tank.

We're a full-fledged good team on defense, decent on special teams, and good in the run game. Unfortunately, we're beyond abysmal in the passing game, and that's not gonna be fixed this year. This game didn't really change any of that.

I'm still extremely optimistic about this season. I'm not optimistic, however, to have to go into someone else's house in the playoffs and rely on our passing game to score. Because that's exactly what's going to have to happen.

Truly. We have a 5-7 window of awesome defense... and that to me, is a HUGE positive.

Our rushing attack is great also... Special Teams is pretty good too.

I dont get what people are so pissed off about.

Most people know what we have w/ Cassel. He's not very good, and unfortunately has a ceiling on how well he "could be" due to his lack of talent. But he's Pioli's boy and it is what it is.

Worse case scenario...I think we end up 10-6, barring any injuries or breakdowns.
