Tip of the hat, wag of the finger

Tip of the hat:
Brandon Carr played great yesterday, as did the secondary as a whole. I think we schemed to basically give them the run and make sure we stopped the pass. We did. Our pass rush showed its head for the first time in weeks, and Tamba Hali had a great game despite being held evey play. We need to hang on to some of those balls they throw at us, and not leave big gaping holes right up the middle of the line, but overall, good job defense.

The offense moved the ball pretty well and ate a bunch of clock.

Wag of the finger:
Mental mistakes nearly killed us. Lots of untimely penalties, and a few imaginary penalties. Haley needs to learn that a field goal is not the worst case scenario. Barry Richardson needs to learn not to push coaches when he ****s up a touchdown by jumping offsides. The whole offense needs to finish drives even when we encounter a setback.

tip of the hat:
nice overall recap of the goods and bads

wag of the finger:
What Barry Richardson did is called a "false start". If he played defense, it would be "offsides"
