Honest question

and maybe my Peyton Manning bias IS getting in the way...

who knows?

but what the ****?

why are people actually expecting the Jets to beat Indy @ Indy? This is befuddling to me...I just don't get it. The Colts match up so well against the Jets it's crazy to me...

I mean...the Colts CRUSHED them last year and the Jets are a worse team (arguably)...

I'm going to lose a lot of money on this if the Jets do win...so I am really looking for some answers...I can't stop betting the line drops...I think the Colts will beat the Jets by more than the Saints beat the Seahawks.

The Colts just don't seem as dominate as they have in recent seasons. And if you are going by record, the Jets are better this year then 2009.

Neither team is very good. But if Manning starts hitting Wayne, Garcon, and Tamme, the Jets probably can't keep up.

the Colts are somewhat week against the run but they looked great against Chris Johnson last week and the Jets have a running game that has struggled recently...

so either Manning has to throw 4 picks or Sanchez has to play lights out for the Jets to win...

I just don't see either happening. I see this as one of the easiest bets of the year. I just don't get it...

2.5 and the money line keeps falling...it's like the line is begging people to bet Indy

I think the Colts aren't as good as they have been in recent years.

I also know the Jets aren't as good as a lot of people think they are. I've seen all 16 Jets games this year on tape during the week after and heard shitloads of NY media talk each week.

But, the Jets are a better team than the Colts are and I think it's going to come down to how Sanchez performs vs Indy's defense. I know the NYJ defense will contain Manning and the Colts O enough to keep them in the game.

My prediction is Sanchez earns his stripes tomorrow and gets the job done. I wouldn't, however, be surprised at all if the Colts win. If the Colts "roll" though, I would be very surprised. I just don't see this Jets team laying down like that.

The reason I've seen all the Jets games is because I listen to WFAN every day so I always watch the Jets/Giants on replay, but I'm not a Jets fan. I ****ing hate them. Really bad. But I'm rooting for them, because now the Chiefs need them to win 2 games so the AFCC is at Arrowhead. That doesn't, however, have anything to do with why I think NYJ wins the game. I just don't think the Colts are the same, the Jets are better than they were last year when they made the playoff run.

Also, if you think about it...this Jets defense was built to beat the Colts.

The Colts aren't the Colts anymore. They're watered down, and this is the worst team they've fielded since Manning became a force in this league. I expect the Jets to win by 10+. I'm dead serious.

Devastating injuries on the Colts are the ONLY thing that makes this close.

Your money is safe....if you took the points, anyway.

Rex Ryan can dial up some blitzes that will confuse the new guys on the interior, and as we've all (finally) seen, if you can get pressure on Manning from the interior, you can force him to make bad decisions.
