This is Mocking Dan's Top 100 of his actual Top 200. If the Kansas City Chiefs GM Scott Pioli was parsing Dan's list from www.mockingthedraft.com who would we, could we, and should we look at? Lets dissect the best 2011 NFL Draft talent by scheme, then by need, then we will have a good criteria in place for the first three rounds of the Chiefs Draft. We have picks number 21, 55, and 88 around 122, 150, 154, 186, and 218 (ballparkish) as we sit today. So lets go

Lets eliminate the 4-3 defensive players and the Power Scheme blockers.

3. Da'Quan Bowers | 6'4, 280 pounds | DE | Clemson *
4. Nick Fairley | 6'5, 298 pounds | DT | Auburn *
10. Cameron Heyward | 6'6, 288 pounds | DE | Ohio State
12. Adrian Clayborn | 6'3, 282 pounds | DE | Iowa
13. Stephen Paea | 6'1, 295 pounds | DT | Oregon State

My gut feeling is it's going to be Phil Taylor , because Pioli's philosophy of DL/OL in general.

BPA would be Houston though.

He eliminates Von Miller as not fitting KC's scheme?

The author apparently doesn't have much of a clue.

Wow took the words straight out of my mouth. Von Miller played in a 3-4 at A&M and would be a great fit.

That being said...he certainly belonged in the will likely be picked before #21 column.

If someone who knows what they are doing put this together, it would be really great.

Then you rank the remaining candidates based on a combination of talent, leadership ability, stats, measurables, the talent they faced in college.... anything I'm leaving out?

You would have a legitimate "Chiefs board" that might resemble the real one.

So, you're expanding your whipering skills to Scott Pioli now?

Stick to what you've already proven your idiocy on.

No need to further prove your idiocy.

Von Miller doesn't fit our scheme because the NE 3-4 typically employs bigger OLB. I doubt the Chiefs pick him. He's 243 lbs.

eh, it's a smart way to look at the players even if he's wrong about Miller...

but we really have no clue who they'll draft...a CB or RB in the first 3 rounds could happen

I like Jon Asomoah, and I like what Ryan Lilja brings to the table in terms of mobility.

I think Asomoah can bring some of that same mobility, and he can get stronger, to be a more effective guard in the power run game in short yardage situations than we have at this point, but Lija is maxed out in that.

I wouldn't use a first round pick on a guard, but we can certainly improve.
