Movies and TV LED vs LCD TV

This has probably been discussed, but I was wondering the pros and cons of each type. Looking in the 60" range. Please send links to good buys, reviews, etc.

There's nothing wrong with LCD. The picture is more or less the same, the LED is just more efficient, doesnt have the threat of picture burns, and the tech is a little more advanced. My parents have a 52 inch samsung series 6 LED and my girlfriend and i have a 40 inch samsung series 5 LCD and the biggest difference is that we got the LCD for 400 dollars less.
