Ugh...Don't You Hate It When People Invite Themselves?

So my wife and I are taking our kids on an overnight trip out-of-town this weekend to a hotel/waterpark. Thought it would be a fun, end-of-the-summer getaway for the family and we got a great deal. It was a spontaneous thing we decided on a couple of days ago (which makes it more fun) and I've really been looking forward to it.

Today, my wife tells me some friends of ours, and their kids, are going too. Guess my wife and her friend were talking this morning and my wife mentioned what we were doing. The other couple then checked it out and decided to go too, pretty much inviting themselves. Don't know if they came out and directly asked if it was OK or not. My wife is pretty passive when it comes to that stuff though so she probably didn't do anything to discourage them from going if they hinted at it.

I mean, it will probably end up being OK. It'll certainly make it easier to entertain the kids, and our kids will surely love having their friends along. Plus, it's not like we don't get along with this other couple.

I guess I just hate feeling restricted on what we do and when we do it and I'm certain that will happen. I was also looking forward to the quality family time with just us.

OK, venting over...

Better than additional family members inviting themselves, but I agree.

Which park are you going to? I've been looking for a place to go this weekend.

Or like when people invite themselves into your thread. I hate that too.

Hey ****heads, when I make threads they're for my own entertainment, not yours. If I didn't invite you, don't post in it. K?

Douchebags....

Having spent enough time around women and their friends, I have no problem saying that your wife said/did something to suggest to her friend that she would be welcome to come along.

IF you can get both wives in bed with you at the same time, this trip could be your best ever.
