Your 2013 KC Chiefs Slogan...
If you were running the marketing campaign for the 2013 season, what would you pitch to the team as your slogan? The team is going to want to focus on the new, with all of the turnaround on the staff, and with the new QB, etc...but at the same time, make it a focal point to bring the fire back to Arrowhead.

I do this for a living (sports marketing), but it's always fun to get opinions of other fans on what clicks with them as far as sports slogans and ad campaigns go.

This year, I don't think the Chiefs need to make any promises, and stay away from the cheese. Reid and Dorsey are going to bring an attitude and an element of toughness to the team, and the fans will reflect that (hopefully) on gamedays. I understand that there will be a lot of joke suggestions posted, but I'm looking for some serious ones as well.

I think one word could be metaphorical to describe the way everyone feels... management/players/coaches/fans

"Enough."


The fans have had enough losing.
Alex Smith has had enough being benched for other QB's.
Bowe had enough of not being paid.
The Chiefs organization had enough of Polio's workplace mentality.
Clark has had enough of being called cheap.
etc....

Everybody has had enough of something, maybe the chiefs could use the word to promote a sense of time to compete attitude and positivity.
This team could come into the season with a losing mentality and just skate through the season the way they typically do, or they could come in with an attitude ready to change it.

Things like "play good football" is fucking bullshit.

Honestly you won't have any kind of slogan until after the draft and then and only then you won't have any kind of exciting slogan unless they draft Geno. If Geno is drafted then your 'marketing block' will be gone because any other pick will not be exciting other than offering the Jets the No.1 pick for Revis while swapping 1st rd picks.
