Takeaways from this game.

This is a huge win for the Chiefs. They faced an absolutely ferocious defense today, and were still able to make the plays needed to win the game. Only one turnover against the Bills was huge as well, and some credit has to go to the defender for getting a good shot on Davis' arm to jar the ball loose.

The fact that Smith was under such extreme pressure all game, beaten up and sacked repeatedly, he did not throw an interception is a credit to the guy's game. He made some big throws when we needed them.

I don't know if our O-Line is really this bad, or the Bills defenders are that good, but there will be a shitload of terrible O-line play to review this week and attempt to correct.

Hemingway should not be on the football field again this season. This guy is absolute garbage. A Wide Receiver that cannot catch wide open passes is worthless. Like a toilet that doesn't flush, a gun that doesn't fire, a firecracker that doesn't explode, he cannot accomplish his primary purpose, which is to receive the ****ing ball. Cut this clown and promote someone, anyone to the active roster. He even ****ed up an awesome play by Cooper that would've downed a punt inside the 2 yard line by feeling that he had to dive on the ball and slide into the end zone with it. Fire this fool.

Toub should have his ass kicked for not reigning DAT in after the first kick he fielded inside the 10 yard line. That one was bad, and made worse by a stupid penalty by JMJ. The fielding of the punt at the goal line was absolutely criminal. I like the kid, he's explosive, but you don't pin your offense inside the 5 or 10 yard line against a defense as monstrous as Buffalo's. You just cant do that shit.

Chris Owens is shit. Don't know if he's still hurting, or just sucks something awful but if a big play was made by Buffalo, Chris Owens was right in the area either over-running an easy tackle to force a 4th down, or getting toasted by Chris Hogan for a touchdown, and any number of wide open easy ass completions this defense surrendered. Get his ass off the field if he cannot perform.

Bowe had his best game of the season. He still had his share of "D'oh!" moments, like fumbling the football after breaking a tackle that would've given him a potential TD, or slipping and falling down after making the catch on 3rd down, but he made some huge catches today and kept the offense rolling on an absolutely critical drive in the third quarter. Damn good showing for Bowe today.

No sacks for Houston. This shouldn't surprise anyone, as when you have your best pass rusher running away from the quarterback at the snap, no sacks will happen. Houston was in coverage quite a bit today. Got close a couple times, but never quite got there. Only sack for KC came when Poe went beast mode past 2 blockers and destroyed Orton in the redzone in an effort that kept the Bills from getting a TD.

Charles had a great statline, but still only carried the football about 15 times today. Fortunately Bowe was able to keep the offense going through the air, but I hate that Andy is so quick to just abandon the run. Charles is a guy that can get stuffed 15 times and then take it 99 on the 16th carry. This was a big reason why Alex got as beat up as he did today, the Chiefs were really one dimensional for most of the game. Big call by Andy with the misdirection flip on the 4th and 1. I thought for sure it would be some bullshit slant that would get swatted along with our hopes of winning the game. Huge call, huge reward.

Its an ugly win for sure, but Buffalo is a tough place for this team to play and that's easily the best defense weve faced from them since the early 90's. This was a big win. Finding a way, any way to get it done. The Chiefs have now won 6 of their last 7 games after starting 0-2. Had it not been for that shitshow out in SF, we would be on a 7 game win streak.

That's huge considering so many people credit the 11 wins last year to an easy schedule. This schedule has been pretty brutal, and Im sure nobody would have predicted the Chiefs would win 6 of their first 9 games.

Our offensive game plan was pure $hit.

With a bunch of aggressive d linemen we needed to have a bunch of screens in the game plan as well as some pitches. No excuse for not using Kelce today.

Everytime they used mis-direction it worked.

Good teams win games like this. The Chiefs are a good team.

I agree it was shit, but thought we adjusted well at half. Keep in mind the drops by Bowe and Hemmingway are drive stallers, and the fact we couldnt run or block anyone really altered our game plan.

I think all things considered, it was a good plan getting the ball to Bowe early and often.

Mis-direction is what I expected would be their best ploy and the Chiefs scored 14 unanswered points in the second half.

The offensive line was expected to struggle against the Bills incredible front seven, so it was no surprise. But by the second half, Big Red had them figured out.

My favorite thing about this win is that it shows that the Chiefs fight until the end. It would have been very easy to give up at multiple points in this game, but they pushed forward.

The offensive line was getting destroyed by an absolutely offensive defensive line all day. The D was having trouble stopping the run, and Orton was moving the ball well by getting rid of it quick. But the Chiefs kept fighting.

Ron Parker's forced fumble for the touch back was a wonderful play that kept the chiefs alive.

This team has fought all year since week 1. That's credit to their character and to coaching.

We totally should have lost this game, and should have lost by multiple scores, but they fought and took advantage of some timely turnovers. It was a sloppy win, and the best thing I can take away form it is that the team has a lot of fight in them.

Not a whole lot of positives statwise to come from this game unless you want to talk about Bowe getting more involved, but O.city already pointed out that he's been on the uptake for a few weeks now.

I was pretty surprised to see no HB or WR screens in this game. That's usually a 4-5 call a game play for Reid. Frustratingly so at times. I guess that's why we only saw Kelce a couple times today.

All the guy does when he's on the field is catch passes. Not sure why we still need Fasano in there if youre going full one dimensional like we did today. Kelce and Bowe are the only weapons we have downfield in the passing game, and Kelce's on the sideline 90% of the football game.

I really thought the Chiefs needed to split Bill/Seahawks games but imagine what a win over the defending Superbowl Champs next week would do to this teams already growing morale.

The o-line played like a steaming pile of horse shit. That's the #1 take away. I understand getting your ass kicked against the best front line in the NFL. But they didn't even look like they belonged. They looked like a bunch of ****ing elementary kids playing flag football out there.

Takeaways from the game:
1. Bills have a monster pass rush that will keep them in a lot of games.
2. We need to spend our first four draft picks on O-line and WRs.
3. We can't get rid of Bowe until we have a steady replacement.
4. Recovering the muffed Bill's punt was a game changer.
5. Alex running in the TD was clutch. Go Alex!!!!
6. I don't want to meet the Bills in the playoffs.

Seahawks are in shambles right now, and they have to come to Arrowhead.

We should kick their asses pretty handily. They've struggled against teams they should have destroyed this season. Shit, they almost gave the game away to the Raiders last week.

After facing Buffalo's defense, Seattle's will not bring anything new to the table, and if anything, they will bring less because the guys they lost in the offseason really hurt their defensive front. They aren't anywhere near the monster that we faced today.
