St. Louis...you're getting sued!

This story is probably buried in another thread somewhere, but it seemed like it deserved its own thread.

Reggie Bush planning to sue St. Louis after slipping at Edward Jones Dome

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – After slipping on the concrete sideline during the San Francisco 49ers game against the St. Louis Rams last week, Reggie Bush is planning to slap the City of St. Louis with a lawsuit, according to CBS Sports.

Bush tore his MCL after losing his footing after a play and slipping on the cement surrounding the field at the Edward Jones Dome during last Sunday’s game. He is out for the season and it could be a career ending injury.

After being taken off on a cart, the 30-year-old football player had surgery.

According to reports, Bush has hired a lawyer and plans to sue to City of St. Louis, who owns and operates the Dome. The suit will likely seek gross negligence, given the potential danger of having a slippery surface around the playing field.

Two weeks prior to Bush’s injury, The Cleveland Brown’s Josh McCown hurt his shoulder after slipping on the concrete sideline.

The team is now pushing to have the concrete surface changed before Sunday’s home game against the Chicago Bears.

Think of Stan Kronke. How will he have the money to pay for private bathrooms in his new LA stadium??

I don't blame him.

Someone got injured there the week prior to Bush getting injured as well, if I'm not mistaken.

They should have taken steps to correct the issue.

I duno...

It looks like the concrete is about 15 yards from the field of play. How far does he need to slow down?

High Football fields 'recommend' 15 feet of runoff before a change of surface and/or obstruction [other than the field goal]. This is tough to achieve much of the time because of 400M tracks.

Unless they have removed a significant amount of turffrom the photos I am looking at, this sounds like a dumbass being a dumbass and suing a city because he is a dumbass, dumbass.

That's who it was: McCown. He hurt his shoulder prior to Bush tearing his ACL.

That's negligence on STL'a part, IMO.

Ok, why would they just leave part of the concrete floor uncovered like that? That makes zero sense.
