The Sun-Sentinel reports the Kansas City Chiefs appear to have interest in trading for Miami Dolphins DT Jeff Zgonina, according to a source.

I guess he would be good in the rotation but the Chiefs better not use anything higher than a 6th to get him.

they will have some competition for his services.
Rams want him as well.
It may come down to Martz vs. Vermeil.

Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel : "A source said Denver expressed interest in trading for fullback Rob Konrad but didn't offer high enough compensation to complete a deal... A source said Kansas City appears to have interest in a trade for Dolphins defensive tackle Jeff Zgonina, who also is being pursued by St. Louis."

'phins have been looking to move Zgonina for a while. He's solid inside against the run, but certainly nothing special overall.

I think we also tried for him a couple years ago when has was a fa. He was old then and has to be 50 by now.

I havent followed the guy since he left St Louis the first time. I never really thought of him as anything all that great.

The Chiefs D-line has probably the most depth on the team. If they do trade for the Z-man, they should cut one of the other D-linemen so they arent just wasting cap space on the d-line where we have like 9 guys already.
