Current Players that are killing the Chiefs

other than the opposing teams RB's. Here's a group that needs to find their game, or find the exit:

Roaf - Willie looks horribly slow. I don't know if he's just old or is nursing an injury, but he's got to get his shit together. I don't know if Bober can play LT, but that might be an option until Wilie gets his game back in order.

Morton - Looks uninspired, slow to his routes and just all round bad. Dude has got to find some game, and bring it on more than just 2-3 plays.

Hall - Is Dante wearing ballet slippers? How many more times is he going slip and to trip himself up. I'm not asking for a TD return, I just want better balance from a guy who makes a living in the return game.

Hicks - Stop talking and start producing. I'm sick of this pussy. He scored a huge contract and has been worthless ever since. Say what you want, but his lack of killer instinct is a big reason we suck along the DL

Sims - We might as well plant a tree at LDT. At least a tree provides shade in the afternoon.............I think we can officially call this a wasted pick.

Barber - Hello, is anybody home? If you've seen Shawn, tell him we'd like for him to make a tackle. Getting one's hands on a player doesn't mean he's down. This isn't touch Shawn, it's tackle. Rap the fugger up and bring him down like a man.

McCleon - Dex had a nice season, last year. He looks gawd awful this year. We have to have him step up. Julian Battle, Will Bart and Sapp are just of no use to this team right now. This spot scares the crap outta me.

DV and the Staff - Show some fugging balls. Take a few chances, and stop playing like this offense is a juggernaut - cuz it ain't. Go for the 4th downs, stop playing like we always have a lead, and show something, anything that tells us you're alive! You and Your merry band of overpaid idiots need a gut check. Get it together during the week, and bring it to the field on Sundays. Nuff said.

What game were you watching? Sims was double-teamed quite often, and even when he was he split them a couple of times.

I was there and saw it. Sims didn't play bad at all. But Dalton and Salivi made some plays that Sims didn't and they were double teamed also. The jury is still out on the "bust or not" decision on Sims but it's not looking good for the 6th pick in the draft.

My biggest beef this week may have been Morton, and really all of our WRs. None of these guys attacks the ball. None of them act like they want it more than the defender. I'm watching receivers all over the league that are ripping balls out the air and coming back to passes, while our guys run their routes with their hands out and expect the ball to land in them.

Age has to be part of it. These guys just aren't as hungry. Hall will never be any real threat (as I've said all along). I'm ready to see Richard Smith in on every down. he may have dropped those passes, but on at least two of them he actually looked like he wanted it. He actually jumped for a high pass (gasp!) and came back to the ball (what a concept!).

Uh, he wasn't double teamed all day, htis. He had a lot of opportunities and cashed in on none. He's THE guy. At some point, when he has the chance, he has to do something.

David, look junior, I'm not dreaming, I saw what I saw and he was manhandled in single coverage as well.

Um guys here's the kicker. If you have a dl who's getting double teamed shouldn't one of the guys whose not be the one expected to make the plays.

From what I've seen he sort of looks like he's moving in Jello. I think the absence of screens for Holmes has helped Saltman become more of a non-factor so far. Last year he contributed in a big way on those plays. He needs to step it up in a number of areas.

I was talking about the contract he signed after his blow out 14 sack season of 2000. Seriously, he's been worthless since then.

If he was playing with passion he would stop saying he does not want to be part of the passing game. He should want teh ball no matter how he gets it.

Can't fault Sims playing, he was being double teamed all day. It opened up the field for Dalton to make plays. The defensive line play has improved greatly over last year. The linebackers are the ones having problems adjusting.

With Wesley out, Woods gets a pass this week.

As for MLB, we currently have a converted DE to OLB, who was then converted to MLB. The next couple of weeks should be pretty telling in what we have with KM. If Kawika is even close to being worth a $hit, he should be able to replace Beisel at MLB, even if he is nursing an injury.
