I ran a 4.85 on our practice field in cleats.

Fairly quick, nothing amazing. I was about 6 ft, 160 lbs so with that build, that kind of speed was just enough to get me some special teams run and some 3rd down duty (we were a triple option team and I just wasn't big enough to be a useful blocker). I also played some nickle DB.

I'd have rather been bigger than faster, all things considered.

Well you don't know baseball dane...full rides don't exist for college baseball players at 4 years...and you usually only get half at juco if any...but you're a genious so I'm sure you knew that

If it helps you guys sleep at night thinking you ran 4.4's and benched 400 lbs when you were 17 then so be it...I won't rain on your parade any longer...but if its true and you were physical specimens like you say you were....you mustve all been uncoordinated dumb****s for not parlaying that into, at the very least, a free education.

That's irrelevant dane...the best high school baseball players almost always go pro or go to jucos...for many reasons...1 being you don't get free rides to 4 years...another being once you commit to a 4 year you can't be drafted again until you're 3 years in or 21...

Actually, you're incorrect: Baseball players CAN be given "Full Ride Scholarships" at NCAA schools. Schools are given eleven scholarships per year but many coaches choose to spread those eleven out over 25 guys.

Me? My ceiling was being a decent juco player if I worked my ass off and I knew I didn't have the work ethic...but I've parlayed that into being a championship caliber slow pitch softball player...can't run on this guy!

9 out of 10 people who ask me to try mine on, never make it past the first or second step away from the bench they stood on strapping them up, me I just stand em up, hop up on em, and strap up one, then the other..
Again, years of practice and balance.

I have a standing bet to any one who comes onto my job sites, ....drop a $20 on the floor, I`ll pick it up WITHOUT using ANYTHING but my hands (ie, no pole sander, claw reach devise etc) strapped in my stilts set for 8ft ceilings.
Not many people take me up on it, after they watch me flick a sanding sponge onto teh front stilt pad of my right leg,. take a step and snatch it out of the air when I flip kick it up if I`ve dropped it.
Same for a taping knife, or phillips screwdriver...If I can get it perched on a foot pad, I can send it airborn and catch it.
