A great game by both teams. I was very scared going into this game (in case you couldn't tell by my comments this week). I knew SIU was a very good, physical, hard nosed type team. I had a feeling that this would be a struggle. Sure, a little luck was involved. But at the same time, luck had nothing to do with some clutch shots toward the end of the game. If KU hadn't sucked so bad at the FT line tonight, it would not have been that close.

I'll give them credit. They play very, very hard. And they play very tough defense. At the same time I recognize that KU didn't do some things that they normally do. Yeah, their defense was awesome. But I hope Collins/Chalmers don't expect to play PG in the NBA, and if they do, they better find out how to handle the ball a little better.
