Any cigar smokers?
I've been getting into this whole cigar gig lately. Seems like every time I drink I run to the store to buy a pack of backwoods.
My favorite cigar are Rocky Patels, these are incredible and they burn for a long time. Very smooth. My buddy and I went to Hungry Hunter and order one. We started smoking and he recommended Ashton's. I had a gift card to this cigar place and decided to use it. I bought one Rocky Patel and Ashton. What are some good cigars you enjoy. I'm wanting to try different ones. I like a cigar that'll last and usually a mild flavor. Any suggestions? |

I recently had a Flor de Las Antillas, which Cigar Aficionado rated No. 1 for 2012, and it was indeed very good. I think I paid $6 for it.

When I first started smoking cigars a few years ago,
I used to smoke RP 1990's and 1992's exclusively because as far as I was concerned nothing else was as good. I've since branched out quite a bit and have tried many cigars. The best cigar I have ever smoked was the La Aroma Di Cuba Mi Amor. In my limited experience, nothing else even compares. I do have to say that my Cuban cigar experience is limited only to Cohibas (Siglio VI and Behike).

I would also add Ghurka and Perdomo Lot 23 to my list of great cigars.

I've never had a Perdomo Lot 23. That's going to be my 1st smoke of the year now. Hopefully we are going to get a warm weekend sometime soon. I like to smoke a cigar on the last weekend of every month during the warm weather time.

Padrons are good, and at a good price.

I go to a cigar shop and have a box of Alec Bradley Black Markets. He's the best man. His cigars are awesome.

The two you have pictured are my favorites, actually. Not a huge cigar smoker, but when I do it is a rocky Patel or Ashton. Been traveling to Honduras for work recently and got into the rocky patels while there. When in Rome, right?
