Let's break down his game as if we have him on tape telling fans, presumably, to "shut the **** up."

We need a legit QB. This much is clear. If he's available when the Chiefs pick in round 1, do you pull the trigger?

No bullshit responses like, "Pioli won't do it."

He traded for Cassel--this move speaks for his level of competency. You're in charge. What do you do?

Seriously, this loss today took away my heart. I know the team is horrible, but I've been around a long time and this is honestly the worst squad I've ever seen. Cassel reminded me of watching Frank F'ing Seurer under center after the strike.
We did just win more games than last year, right? But yeah, Cassel has looked terrible. Did he look like he was fumbling the ball each time he went to spike it? And he really does have some of the poorest decision making ever. Brodie knew when to throw it away. Cassel just doesn't. Plus, he even looked like he threw the ball away straight to the sidelines (and therefore the ball may not have crossed the LoS). Ugh.

Yeah, and how many changed their minds after Cassel was acquired?

The top QB this year would be behind Freeman on last year's boards.

Now 13 games later, people are on board with drafting a lessor QB than what we could have had last year.

I wanted Stafford the rest I had no interest in. So far that is looking like the right choice.
