Let's break down his game as if we have him on tape telling fans, presumably, to "shut the **** up."

We need a legit QB. This much is clear. If he's available when the Chiefs pick in round 1, do you pull the trigger?

No bullshit responses like, "Pioli won't do it."

He traded for Cassel--this move speaks for his level of competency. You're in charge. What do you do?

Yes but it's been pretty well documented Bradford is a project. He's not really a 1st round player.

The closest one is at about 1:40, where he lofts up a pass to a guy who is 2 yards clear of any defender.

3:43 is the closest to attempting an NFL throw. The ball hung up too long and got picked off.

That offense was predicated on dumpoffs and YAC

Maybe I'm oversimplifying, but there appears to be a recognizable template for a college QB that would transition well to the pro's, and I don't see Bradford or McCoy being that template.

I see Gabbert as being "kind of there", but needs more experience and development. I guess it has to with physical make up and arm strength/accuracy, but then you get guys like Sanchez who kind of fall in-between the two extremes.
Am I making any sense whatsoever?

Where has this been documented?

Bradford is a virtual lock to be drafted in the first round in April.

You want a template for a QB who would transition well:

3 year starters from a pro style offense with at least decent mechanics and above average arm strength. The more success he's had with lesser players, the better.

Like Mecca said he needs to put on more weight and teams will draft him high because they need a QB, therefore they aren't nessecarily drafting the best player they are drafting for need. We've seen what happens when teams do that.

That's kind of what I'm driving at. Stafford didn't look all-world at Georgia, but you knew he had the arm, the physical makeup, and a solid background. And so he goes to the NFL, and though he's a rookie, you look at the film of him hitting his receivers and working in and out of the pocket, and you say to yourself, "that looks like a professional Quarterback".

And though those moments are few because he's playing with the Lions for ****'s sake, you at least see the flashes and the quality of play, and you know that with good support from his franchise via team-building that he has a legitimate shot of being a great NFL QB.

If Gabbert isn't hurt, they win the Nebraska and Baylor games, IMO. I still don't think they'd win the Ok. State game, and Texas would annihilate them, as always.

It wasn't Blaine Gabbert that gave up 27 points in the 4th QTR to Nebraska. Mizzou's defense sucked. Look how they played vs Bowling Green & Nevada when Gabbert wasn't injured and barely won.

Mizzou's defense is shitty, yes, but saying they barely beat Nevada is hyperbole.

Bowling Green has a very good offense. It was the O that disappointed in that game, not the D.
