The higher the tender....the more money they receive for the tender. I think a 1st round tender gets $2-3 million for one year.

Because some teams don't want to pay the player the first round tender.

They pay it whether someone makes an offer or not.

Dude's 25 years old, has a ****ton of talent, and racked up 11.5 sacks surrounded by a HORRIBLE front 7. He and Beason are the only two good F7 players they had last year.

Maybe we weren't interested in Moss. Maybe Moss wasn't interested in us. Impossible to know. Comes here and he's a slot guy, 3rd on the depth chart behind Bowe and Baldwin, with Moeaki stealing another 50 catches. Stay in Washington and he's still the guy, splitting catches with Cooley and Hankerson. Maybe he still believes he's a number 1.

And how much interest is interest? If making a call and inquiring is 'interest' then we're probably 'interested' in a lot of guys this week. Guys that in reality we're probably not all that interested it.
