Not sure how the new CBA changes things, but is there anything that prevents us from using the franchise tag on Hali multiple years? I know in the past it was an average that escalated (and I read earlier that his cost to the team this year would be just over $10m) -- seeing price tags that include $30+ million in guaranteed money against $70 millions' it might make more sense to just franchise him and, if he plays well enough to earn it, to franchise him again.
