Oh its rigged and that has pretty much been proven in this thread.

Too many examples of it being rigged, with no proof that it isn't.

Hell, now we've moved on to the psychology that allows grown men the suspension of disbelief necessary to somehow even think that the NFL is on the up-and-up.

I recently told a friend of mine (who's also starting to come to the realization that not everything is on the up and up) that it's almost like the NFL just keeps pushing the envelope to see how much the fans will take.

Also,I loved the line in the recent film Concussion,"you're going to war with a corporation that owns a day of the week."

I can't say that you're NOT an honest person, because I only know you at work.

See how that works??

My public persona, if I have one (and I do), is that of an arrogant, aloof, asshole who is drunk and stoned 24-7. That's what people think.

We played a show a few weeks ago, we had a local opener, and the singer is a girl who has lived around here for awhile, but I had never really talked to her before.

We sat down, had a drink and a smoke, and she's like, 'you're a ****ing sweetheart!! I don't even believe the things people have said about you...'

Because I have no control over what other people's perceptions, ya know?? They can think what they want...

No kidding. I feel the exact same way.

It's like, they don't want ME to watch their product. And the more absurd it becomes, the more I'm okay with that.

I've already stopped giving them my money...

My time will be next.

But I wasn't bragging; I was telling LoneWolf the truth.

Truth. I didn't exaggerate or make it seem like I'm ****ing Paul McCartney LOL

What was I 'bragging' about?? Getting a paycheck for an honest day's work??

We're talking about the douchebag who told a fellow musician and bassist that their band 'sucks' and that I'm 'second-rate'. He also told me, a fellow human being, to shoot myself in the head.

And yet you want to jump down my ass for "bragging"??

Whatever.

My roommate is a helluva guy, really cool. His buddy wanted to bet on the SB because my roommate was all "Denver, all the way."

'I'll bet ya $50 Carolina takes it'

"I'm not going to take your money."

And he explained the storyline.

Everyone who knows anything about football knew that Denver was going to win.

Oh yeah, he also told me to shoot myself in the head.

I'm sure.

When I was 3 or 4, I was ecstatic when Hulk Hogan beat Macho Man at Wrestlemania 5 and took the title back.
