I agree with Memphis not going 33-1 if they were in the Big 12. The thing about being in a halfway decent conference is the rivalries that develop, and those teams having a talent pool large enough to compete with you. I'm not in any way saying that Memphis isn't talented, but there's a reason that teams like UNC, KU, Duke, etc., even when they're the best talent-wise in the nation, don't go undefeated. Playing at OSU, even ISU back in the day, is hard, even for a team like KU. OSU isn't the best team in the world, but they're certainly not the worst.
