Read the above post. Carl Peterson isn't drafting here anymore, and the guy that is has a record that would lead you to believe that he can and does hit on late round picks - so yeah, giving up a pick for a 34 year old LB that won't be around in 2 years is foolish, IMO.
Are you really that dense? The guy who made the trade is the same guy you are praising.

Whining and crying?

OK, if the photographer says so.

Now that would be a doozy. Reiss is one of the most well-respected beat writers in the country, and is usually very cautious to publish anything resembling speculation. He rightly points out that we have no idea what the compensation in the Vrabel trade is. )

Smog is a good name for you, surrounding by all the pollution in your face so you can't see the horizon..

Sorry but if Vrabel came here for anything more then a 5th round pick it was a bad deal for the Chiefs.. We have tons of cap room, we can pick up quality FA's with it, we should not be trading picks for players unless it is greatly in our favor especially for a guy on the downside of his career age speaking..

The Chiefs are not in a Superbowl run this year or one piece away..

Vrabel is a good player, hopefully it was you guys needing to cut cap to sign some FA's and us getting him for a 6th and nothing more..

It would be more fitting if the people on the photography forum were going on and on thinking there was only one way to make a good photo. There are many ways to make a good photo and different photographers have different approaches to that good photo.

However, they think that a photographer who has a history of taking really good photographs is an idiot for going about a photo a certain way and everyone else who also likes that photo are obviously not fit to talk about photography.

Even though the photographer has a good history and the photo could still turn out really well...they would rather listen to themselves bitch and their bitching is just gravy on their reeruned lives.

If Warpath likes going other places with discussions thats what I have.

Don't worry guys, that "Undisclosed Draft Pick" won't be anywhere near as good as the picks we'll get trading down from the #3 spot while BOTH Stafford and Sanchez are still available.

Yeah, it's pretty simple.

People act like we say no one on the team but draftees should be part of the roster. That's bullshit.

I don't think it's lunacy to assume that you should have 15-18 of your starters be drafted, though.

Core does not = totality.

So I'm not allowed to disagree with one decision out of hundreds?

That's pretty ****ing stupid.

I guess I should just drink the Kool-Aid now, and never question anything this franchise ever does again.

Sounds like WPI to me.

Judging by history I think 16-6 is the make up. 16 draft and 6 free agents/trades.

The thing about this is not that Mike Vrabel is a terrible player, but he's the equivalent of a Ray Lewis, a linebacker that is a leader no doubt but he's aging and losing steam, even back in the Patriots Super Bowl teams he was a scheme player, catching passes on offense to confuse others as well as being put in multiple facets of the game. The real reason I am kind of dissapointed is that for the first aquisition that we do is trading for an aging linebacker is not something I was expecting and not wanting to hear.

Until this backfires my money still reads "In Pioli we Trust..."
