Even then, I'm not sure why that matters.

Last I checked, our new HC has never played the game. He wanted to be a golf pro.
Sorry for coming off like a jerk. I usually take this stuff in stride, but the aloofness of some on this board makes it seem necessary to call bullshit, just that.

Like a lot of us, I too was a high school warrior. Being a tweener at 6' 2" 225lbs, I didn't get a lot of looks at the center position, and instead of going the JC route, I entered the service with ambitions of boxing for four years. (btw, recruiters are full of shit)

It might just be me, although by the rep comments I've recieved today I guess I'm not, theres a certain group of individuals that think their take on things are the only viable option for the braintrust @ One Arrowhead. There seem to be quite a few learned people on here, with good takes that go both ways. A lot of these opinions are discounted even before debate. It's my opinion that everyone has something to add, and we all have a common goal that our team get better by leaps and bounds.

This isn't discounting the fact that there are some dumb mother****ers on here too. But theres usually two sides to every story, and I think we gain more as fans by looking at both constuctively, instead of making blanket assumptions that one group of people have "teh knowledge", while others don't know what the hell is going on.

To add, I don't post much because I too think I know it all, and prefer to leave people wondering, instead of removing all doubt, that I am, indeed, an asshole.

Hamas had a meltdown
Hootie and Zach went all Laz
OTW/Mecca/Hamas and Jason had a heart to heart
Buster/DCS had some moments
And the Chiefs traded for Vrabel, that is about all

That was me. I played 7th, 8th, and half of 9th grade. Broke my collar bone in a tackling drill in practice. Then I got a part time job after school, and that was it.

I was never really any good, but I had big dreams, and it was pretty sweet being part of the team.

And so it begins. This offseason is going to be great. People are gonna go beserk. The Pats always make some head scratching moves, but in the big picture they're trying to put together a team that works. Ideally we're not going to see that today, this is all part of the big picture, don't know what that big picture is, but they're thinking about it. That's pretty much guaranteed.

The Pats are the same team that picked up guys like Junior Seau and Chad Brown off the scrapheap and actually had them playing as part of successful teams. So who knows. I'll put money down right now this isn't the first move we make that people will scratch their head and say "What?" because it's not the hip thing to do.
