Afflec's a pretty good actor who's made some poor career choices. He's basically just chosen some bad scripts.

I just watched Dogma again the other day. That movie is hilarious every time I see it. I thought he was great.

Yeah, I'm a little biased because I'm a huge Kevin Smith fan.

Affleck rocked in Chasing Amy too.

It was that whole J-Lo/Gigli era that ruined him..

I agree. I was not impressed. Maybe i expected more from it. I'm glad i didn't buy the movie. The movie will be forgotten soon enough.

It was OK. That was about it. I didn't feel like it deserved all the hype.

I just got around to watching this tonight. This was a movie that didn't quite have a direction. It had some hilarious character cliches that really worked. Just good fun. But the convergence of all the action at the penthouse and the aftermath didn't follow through with the almost campy character development. They should have dropped the plot twists and just focused on carnage in the penthouse. That would have been awesome.

I actually liked the flick. I thought the twists and turns and trying to figure out what was going on worked. Normally those movies don't engage me, but this did. I'm probably just a simple minded plowboy, but I liked it.

Oh, I enjoyed it enough that I'll probaly watch it again. But I was thinking during the first half of the movie that it had a chance to enter the pantheon. It didn't reach that high for me.

I was expecting a let down. It surpassed my expectations, and I thought was pretty well done. It was unrealistic, but intended to be. I thought it was well done. So much so, in fact, that I bought it.

I agree. I'm amazed it took me this long to watch it. I'm a huge Piven fan. Well, Entourage anyways. I wish his role in this moive had been bigger. I expected more Buddy Israel and was let down. The movie was action packed though. Unrealistic? They weren't trying to be realistic. I thought the movie was a lot of fun. I don't watch a lot of movies though, and have been told my taste isn't that good repeatedly.
