Barry Richardson

Dude sucks. He was the main reason the offense went into the toilet today. Couldn't run block, couldn't pass block. Got his ass whipped 1 on 1 all day.

Wiegman was a stop gap. Does pretty good in pass protection but when you absolutely have to get 3rd and short, he's a bit long in the tooth. I think Center is top pick (if we can sign WR in free agency).

Draft Wisniewski. His uncle was that POS Steve. I'd like to take him just to stick it to Steve.

But Richardson has to go as a starter, I mean. He's a quality back up, but he's not starting material.
I've said this in the past and Milkman has echoed this statement:

The offensive lineman have all taken a step back under Muir.

I doubt that Muir will be fired this offseason but it's very clear that the Chiefs need to upgrade their offensive staff. The game planning and play calling have been poor at times, especially the situational playcalling.

Offensive personnel will definitely help (WR's, OL, TE & RB - I don't see Cassel going anywhere this offseason) but they definitely need better game planning and in-game adjustments in 2011.

Our draft would almost have to be:

Rd.1- Take the best LT, WR, or NT (maybe in that order)

Rd.2- Take the best of the remaining two positions and/or C.

Rd.3- Take the best of the remaining two positions or a rush LB.

Rd.4- Take the best of the remaining two positions.
FMP. Forgot center before.

I hope the Chiefs make a run at Yanda from the Ravens. I have always liked him as a right tackle since coming out of Iowa. He would be a nice upgrade to B-Rich and Richardson then would give us great depth.
