I enjoyed the Shiner Hefeweizen last night.

The Honey Weiss from Lulenpiugal (sp) was average IMO.

It was 7.50 for a sixer so I went for it.

What about Hoegarden (sp)? A sixer is 12.50 here.

Hoegaarden is the granddaddy of witbiers. Its the very definition of "solid" for the style. I think that you would like it a lot. I would never pay that price for it myself, but you seem to be in between a rock and a hard place with respect to beer prices.

Yeah, I am and it sucks. I am on a major kick right now on trying different brews, especially wheat varietys. I really want to try this Hoegaarden now, the bottles look pretty cool too.

I didn't buy the sixer, wanted to ask CP first.

I'm going to a liquor store in a bigger town Monday, they let you create your own six packs. So, I'll probably pick up a couple sixers of varieties.

Native Florida drink.

In a blender, mix:

2 oz Bacardi Special
2 oz Creme de cacao
8 oz cream of coconut
8 oz half and half
4 oz Kaluha
4 cups of ice

Voila!
