I trade beers every once in awhile with my coworker. It works better to try them that way then to buy an entire 6 or 12 pack only to discover you don't like it. Anyway, he gave me a Guiness Extra Stout that I finally got around to trying last night. That was really good. Strange as it may seem with the different beer I've tried, I had never tried a Guiness, any Guiness. I picked up a 6 pack of that tonight.

Has anyone tried Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Ale? Man, I love Sierra Nevada brews, but that one was a little too strong for my tastes.

Bigfoot is tremendous. And it is one of the better beers to age long term.

When Pepsi and Coke started using and buying up sugar (sucrose) it drove the cost of sugar sky high. Using HFCS was cheaper and easier to get.

They have driven the cost of sugar up due to supply and demand significantly.

We use a lot of sucrose (sugar) at work and this drove our cost way up on our sucrose containing products.

I have done a lot of brewing and this is one of my top three picks off the shelf. It's a damn good beer. I make sales call on the Big Sky Brewing Company and make sure to make the calls at around 4-5pm.

The owner is also a good guy and takes care of me when I make those calls.

I'm a huge fan of Moose Drool. I picked up a 18 pack sampler of Big Sky, my favorite was the Moose Drool. I thought Scape Goat was also good, and the Big Sky was ok (a little to sharp for my taste).
