GIF'D UP! 2009

During the preseason Bernard Pollard sucked. I gif'd that fool up. He got cut. The gifs didn't lie!

The Chiefs are going to suck this year. Every week, someone's getting gif'd up. At least one person. Probably a lot more.

We're gonna point out every fraud on this football team!

First up: Branden Albert (moved to post #2 by DaFace)

Sadly, despite his improvements, Albert once again leads the way on GIF'D UP.

But as we saw, the O-line as a whole had a very good game. Here are two other failtacular moments:

Shockingly, this was the only real missed tackle I could find. We sucked, but really we just got dominated at the point of attack.

It seemed like Denver didn't even go to any of their exotic blitz packages to get pressure on Cassel. I think they were just trying to force Cassel to throw from the pocket to prevent him from doing anything with his feet. We weren't really trying to put much pressure on him.

It's not a proper Donko game unless a helmet goes flying. Great job as usual GC.

You will soon be handed your 'exotic blitzing' ass... on a gleaming pure silver platter.

Thank you posting this.

That first gif was one I was looking for but didn't want to go through game footage. That block by Cox was absolutely positively pathetic. I remember thinking to myself about how if that was T-Rich, there is no way in hell that guy comes even close to Charles on a toss sweep.

By the way, just to comment... that first one isn't on Albert. Albert's sprinting to the edge to block a guy Cox should have blocked. Albert never had a chance--he actually did as well as he could have. Actually, I thought he played it very well. If Cox makes his block, Albert's in position to seal the edge from the two other pursuing defenders.

I was thinking the same thing. Albert had no choice but to try and push the defender further outside. Optimally, that allows JC to turn it upfield, but the pursuit was there. That play was just doomed...
