You can campaign, resign your commission, threaten the Academy voters etc.....Just don't forget to vote.

This is not a public vote but it's not a secret ballot. Whether you choose to publically declare your candidate or not is up to you.

The veterans committe didn't start the qualifying on Jan. 1st 2006 but the middle of December 2005 because we thought it was a good idea. You had to have at least 500 posts since your join date to be elgible.

Did we pick a winner for this yet? I'm guessing I just missed the memo that it was me! Thanks to everyone! I really appreciate all of your encouragement and reps. I'd like to thank God ... wait, I don't believe in him... I'd like to thank my parents, girlfriend, and all of CHIEFS PLANET!! (I hope this doesn't turn out to be an embarrassing award ceremony like the one in Zoolander... Is someone else's name being played over the speakers as I'm saying all of this?)
