I'm going to Vegas, baby!
![]() Hit me with your recommendations. I want to know what places I need to visit, restaurants can't be missed, sights I should see. Trying to keep a budget so dropping big money on a bunch of shows isn't really my thing. I might gamble a little but I'm not big on gambling. I will be looking for photo spots though. I will be bringing my camera and taking a ton of pictures. So what do you think, Planet? What do I need to see in VEGAS? EDIT: Here's the link to the pics: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...&postcount=106 Thanks everybody! Last edited by ReynardMuldrake; 10-05-2011 at 09:56 AM.. |

Planet Hollywood is the shit. There is this thing where you can jump off of the stratosphere for like $100 that would be pretty cool too.

Go to China Panda for dinner, and if you see a guy there eating alone, give him your cell#.

I'm biased being that I work for the largest gaming company, so I'll say Caesar's Palace. (Insert Hangover joke)

I was there this week. I saw nothing. Of interest, that is.

I'll be with my girlfriend, so the strip club is probably a no-go. Those places are usually ripoffs anyway. |

There's nothing to do in Vegas. They pretty much roll up the sidewalks by midnight.

![]() I was kidding about the strip club. I think you will find plenty to do just walking up and down the strip. I love downtown, so I reccomend taking a cab to Fremont for one night and just walk around and enjoy the light show. |

Walk through Caesers palace it is a neat place to see all the stores and stuff inside. I went into planet hollywood it was pretty neat to see different instruments and stuff of musicians.
I am going again in May, and will hit up a few others to check out. Gambling in planet hollywood was expensive so I won't be doing that again. Tables were $25 minimum. |

Seriously, if this is your first trip to Vegas, don't plan anything. It's such a sensory overload, you'll lose track of time and if you have plans to be somewhere at a certain time, it will just cause undo stress. Go to your Cirque show and then just go with the flow the rest of the time.
Oh, and do a search here for Vegas. There are plenty of threads on the subject already. Posted via Mobile Device |

Dam.
The Hoover one. You wouldn't regret adding a day or two to go down to the Grand Canyon. It's about five hours away.

I seriously know nothing about Vegas, the names of the casinos, that's about it. I don't know which ones are supposed to be the good ones. What's Fremont, is that a street, or an establishment, or what? You may have to use small words with me here. ![]() |
