2014 NLCS. Three wins from another WS appearance

Made the postseason 10 times in the last 14 seasons.
Only 1 losing season since 2000.
Reached the World Series 4 times since 2004 and won as many championships (two) the past eight seasons as it did from 1965 to 2005.
Made the NLCS 9 times including the last 4 years 2011-2014
Three million attendance? Take it to the bank.
65 post season wins since 2004. 22+ wins more than any other team.

This reminds me of a few years ago when we were playing well, went out to the west coast on an AL trip and got shalacked a few times.

Between the double switch taking Heyward out and Matheny taking a cruising Tuivailala out so that he could PH Tony Cruz, who was originally bunting, so he could bring in Nick Greenwood, who has a 5.50 ERA in Memphis, that was a classic Matheny shit storm.

They could have brought in Cooney and had Lyons start tomorow, but Matheny can't play anything other than checkers.

This is a stupid, stupid baseball team.

Holiday will help the line up when he gets back. No way Mo will stand pat. Something will happen to make the team better.

Every damn season we go through a horrendous part of the season. They look like a team that would be lucky to win 60 games in a season. Yet, we have 4 straight trips to the NCLS. We have the pitching to do it again. Get some more offense and we can overcome Matheny's stupidity.

Oh, I believe that. He'll be busy shuffling Xavier Scruggs and Dan Johnson back & forth to Memphis. Yep. Big time moves. Just won't be enough to keep the Pirates from passing the Cards at this point.

The Pirates are winning the same way that we are, pitching. If they can keep this level of play up, they deserve to pass us. Thats a 110 win team if they keep it up.

Moving Minor leaguers and washed up veterans around are not the moves that I'm talking about. Mo has always made moves when he felt that he needed to be successful. We have plenty of money this year to get whoever is needed. We also have the ability to increase our cap room easily another $20-$30 million a year going forward into the foreseeable future,

So the kid from Rogersville that the cards drafted goes to our church, I got to talk to him a little this morning. He's heading to rookie ball at 230 today in florida. The church prayed that he take god with him on his journey, I prayed that God helps him develop secondary pitches and throw atrikes.

Am I going to hell?

Holy crap your from Rogersvile? I lived there until I was 5. Most of that town are my relatives. My uncle was the preacher at the big Bapitist church for 20+ years.

Doesn't mean nearly as much when the team right behind you in the standings is the best team in baseball since May.

We could win 100 games (although I highly doubt that) and have to play in the ****ing wildcard game.
